All the pieces here (with the exception of Oscar) were created with colored pencil, my medium of choice. Oscar just happened to be an acrylic piece I was playing around with. I've also worked in graphite, pastel, watercolor, and experimenting in oil.
You can always find me on Facebook, or email. My best time to do commissions is summer to early fall before the holidays, the earlier the better. Photos can be taken anytime, horses are best taken in summer when their coats are short and the sunlight is warmer. But dont let that stop you, personally, I love a good fuzzy horse knee-deep in snow !
Almost forgot -- Pricing, not a favorite subject of artists. So what I've come up with is this:
colored pencil, appx 14x17 $200
colored pencil, appx 18x24 $300
graphite pencil, appx 14x17 $150
Framing - I recommend a local independent framer - they're feeding families not buying new mega yachts. Price difference is really slight between the two and you're doing a good thing. My local is Eagle Gallery in Glenmoore, Amy will take care of you and she's a cool chick too. 610-458-0406
Good framing is a good investment in the artwork, protection is a priority and it really sets the work off at it's best.
